Apartamentos Casa Luis

Apartamentos Casa Luis was designed to be a relaxing, no-frills family complex for those wanting a vacation near the beach. It has been run daily by the same family since 1974, which makes for an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The property itself is made up of four-story white buildings with pathways that lead to outdoor spaces like the pool and tennis courts. Reception is more functional than stylish, as it features little more than a reception desk. The same can be said for the restaurants which have white floors, wooden tables and chairs, and abstract paintings on the walls. As a family-focused property, the noise levels can get a bit high, especially in the evening at the bar. 

It’s only about an eight-minute walk to the beach from Apartamentos Casa Luis, an aspect that attracts plenty of travelers. There are some restaurants on surrounding streets and a grocery store that’s a five-minute walk away -- a convenience for those who want to cook in their kitchenettes. As far as things to do, Puig de Missa, a historic church, takes 23 minutes to reach on foot. Shopping options are a 14-minute walk away. A bus stop takes a minute to reach from the hotel. It’s a 20-minute drive to Ibiza Airport. 

White walls, blue bedspreads, tiled floors, and blond wooden furniture and cabinetry make for a plain, no-frills decor in the apartments and studios at Apartamentos Casa Luis. They’re homey, but basic in design, and are suitable for families with extra beds, plenty of space, and sofas. The furnished balconies with mountain or pool views are particularly nice. All studios and apartments are equipped with flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes with mini-fridges, microwaves, sinks, two-burner stoves, kettles, and toasters. Bathrooms have white-and-blue tile with shower/tub combos, toiletries, and hairdryers. Note that lower-floor rooms may be subjected to bothersome noise from the nightclub and bar in the evenings. Cleaning service is provided every other day, according to the website, but guests report that it occurs even less often than that. 

The property has a great number of family-friendly features and activities, including two pools and a children’s pool. There are tennis courts turned soccer courts, ping-pong, pool tables, and a playground for children. In the evenings, there’s a nightclub that’s open to children for a mini disco session at the beginning of the night that then turns into an adult affair with cocktails and music. Apartamentos Casa Luis has a few dining options on-site. The Garden Restaurant serves Spanish and international food, as does the Terrace Bar next to the pool. Green Banana Lounge is a cute little bar for drinks and snacks. A hot breakfast buffet is offered for a fee. Half-board and breakfast packages are available. There’s free parking and Wi-Fi throughout.
