Bottom Line

This upscale, business-oriented hotel is located in safe and quiet San Isidro, a couple of blocks from the business district. Spacious, clean rooms offer up-to-date touches, such as flat-screen TVs, stocked mini-fridges, and large work desks; decor is contemporary, albeit generic. Highlights include an outdoor pool that is small, but lovely, and a chic restaurant serving local cuisine in minimalist surroundings. The solid amenities, San Isidro location, and underground parking will likely appeal to business travelers, but tourists might prefer a more happening location, such as neighboring Miraflores.

In northern San Isidro, a quiet and safe area close to embassies and the business district

Map of Atton San Isidro

The Atton San Isidro is located on the corner of two main avenues close to the upscale Embassy District and a couple of blocks from the business area in the neighborhood. There is not much within walking distance except restaurants, which tend to be fairly expensive and get overly crowded during peak hours.

Miraflores, a bustling district widely known for its shopping areas, gardens, well-maintained parks, and beaches, is just south of San Isidro. It is a quick cab ride away from the hotel, as are the area's only remaining pre-Incan ruins.

San Isidro is home to many upscale hotels, and is popular for its shopping malls and the quality golf club with views of the Lima skyline. It is mainly residential (especially the area around the Embassy District), and generally safe, but visitors don’t usually spend too much time here -- they mostly stop (or drive) by on their way to Lima’s Historic District from Miraflores, which is the real draw in the capital city.

  • 27-minute drive to J Chavez International Airport
  • 10-minute drive to Museo Amano, a museum of pre-Incan artifacts
  • 9-minute drive to Huaca Pucllana, the only remaining pre-Incan ruin in the area
  • 8-minute drive to Miraflores Central Park and John F. Kennedy Park
  • 13-minute walk to the Parque del Amor, a romantic park overlooking the Pacific Ocean
  • 13-minute drive to the Larcomar shopping mall
  • 14-minute drive to Lima’s Historic District
  • 14-minute drive to the Cathedral of Lima
