While located on a quiet street in Victoria, the Georgian House is conveniently close to both underground stations and popular tourist spots. There is no shortage of hotel alternative in the area. For historical architecture, an elevator, and guaranteed in-room Wi-Fi, it's worth considering the similarly priced Windermere Hotel.

In an area filled with small hotels, the 34-room budget Dover Hotel doesn't stand out from its surrounding, but it offers an affordable stay in an excellent location. The Hanover Hotel Victoria is a mid-range option near the Victoria Station, on a quiet street of Victorian row houses. It’s a 15-minute walk to the banks of the Thames River and museums like Tate Britain. The hotel has 39 simple guest rooms with small flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate, though it can be very busy. There’s no bar, restaurant, elevator, or fitness center, and not all rooms can be air conditioned, but its central London location and relatively low prices can be a good value. However, for a bit more cash the Georgian House across the street has far more style.
