Bottom Line

The 33-room Charter Club
Resort of Naples Bay is a mid-range time-share property on Naples Bay with
restaurants, shops, and the Von Liebig Art Center, a 15-minute walk away. Spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom condos have fully-equipped kitchens, flat-screen TVs, wet bars,
and washers/dryers as well as screened-in porches. Some have beautiful water
views, but decor is a bit dated and there is no housekeeping. The two outdoor pools and hot tub are
waterfront with exceptional views and there is a poolside Tiki hut serving lunches and snacks. This property has a mandatory daily resort
fee and the front desk closes early in the evening. For an extra $40 per night, Naples Bay Resort has five pools and a lazy river, nicer rooms, and daily housekeeping.

Scene

A quiet and tranquil waterfront resort with fantastic views throughout

A quiet, relaxed atmosphere flows
through this yellow-painted time-share property. Tan tile, brown wicker chairs,
and pale yellow walls adorn the small lobby, and there is free coffee and tea
provided. At the clubhouse, a spacious and homey common area, gray couches and patterned armchairs provide seating and a laminate bar serves drinks. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the area bright, and there are several colorful posters and prints adorning the walls, as well as a flat-screen TV and a computer that is available for guests' use. Additionally, there is a lovely
outdoor deck with seating. Another yellow building comprises the poolside grill,
with a flat-screen TV in the tiled bar area, and multicolored seating on a wooden deck with gorgeous water views. All grounds are well maintained and feature
trees, flowers, and shrubs. Guests should note that there is no elevator.

Location

On Naples Bay with many restaurants, shops, and sites within walking distance

The Charter Club Resort of
Naples Bay is located in a high-end area with Tin City, Naples City Dock, the Norris
Center, restaurants, and shops within a 10-minute walk. The Von Liebig Art
Center and the beach are a 15-minute walk away, while the Naples Pier is a
five-minute drive. Waterside shops, the Naples Zoo, Naples Airport, and
Mercato are around a 15-minute drive, while Bonita Beach Park and Southwest
Florida International Airport can be reached in about 30 minutes.

Rooms

Contemporary rooms offer screened-in porches and fully-equipped kitchens; some have superb water views

The spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo units feature homey, if dated, decor that includes brown carpeting, mid-tone
wood furniture, and generic prints on the walls. Fully-equipped kitchens with laminate countertops include ranges, microwaves,
coffeemakers, dishwashers, full-size refrigerators, and toasters. Living rooms
have gray sofa beds, flat-screen TVs and DVD players, wet bars, and wood dining
tables. The entire living space is bright due to the large windows, and
washers/dryers are provided in the hallway closet. Master and second bedrooms
have cream-colored walls and gold bedspreads, plus the masters have iPod docking stations
as well. All condos feature screened-in porches with seating and some offer marvelous water views. However, no housekeeping is provided, and some rooms
get loud exterior noise and have old tube-style TVs. Bathrooms are fairly standard, with large mirrors, little vanity space, and shower/tub combos as well as a limited range of toiletries provided.

Features

Waterfront outdoor pool and hot tub, plus poolside grill; mandatory daily resort fee

The small outdoor
pool is adorned in blue tile and surrounded by blue seating and umbrellas.
There’s a small children’s pool in addition to a hot tub. The
entire pool area is right on the water with excellent views. Cheeseburgers,
snacks, beers, and frozen cocktails are available at the poolside grill for
lunch; it receives mostly good reviews. Concierge services plus a 24-hour
business center are available, and there is a clubhouse lounge area with a flat-screen TV
and computer. Barbecue, fishing, and picnic areas are offered in addition to
bike rentals, and there is free Wi-Fi and outdoor parking. This property has a
mandatory daily resort fee that covers sport equipment, bikes, barbecue grills, the
business center, and several other services. Guests should note that the front desk
closes early in the evening.
