L’Alya Ninh Van Bay

Hidden in the rain forest on the shores of Ninh Van Bay, L'Alyana has a beautiful setting and a private, secluded island feel. The private dock leads to a palm-thatched reception building with a terrace and the grounds extend through lagoons bridged by natural wood pathways, with a backdrop of tree-covered hills. Golf carts ferry guests along quiet lanes through the forest between villas and the oceanfront restaurant, and there's a beautiful infinity pool with views across the bay. It's an exclusive retreat, and the vibe is quite tranquil. Guests tend to be couples and honeymooners, but there are some two-bed villas which appeal to families and small groups of friends. 

L'Alyana is located on the shores of secluded Ninh Van Bay. It's only accessible by boat, from a dock across the water, with a transit time in the hotel speedboat of around 15 minutes. There are plenty of scenic hikes from the hotel and popular Ba Ho Waterfall is a 20-minute drive north of the dock. It's a 20-minute drive south from the dock to Po Nagar Cham Towers, an impressive Buddhist temple. The restaurants and shops of Nha Trang are a 30-minute drive away and attractions like Vinpearl Cable Car, and Vinpearl Land amusement park are 40 minutes along the coast. The journey to the airport takes around an hour. 

Villas at L'Alyana are spread through three different areas of the resort, and all have a chic rustic-inspired style with rooms opening right up to the outdoors, excellent amenities, and private plunge pools. All villas have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, entertainment systems with multi-room music and movies, minibars, tea/coffee machines, mosquito nets on the beds, insect repellent, safes, robes/slippers, free snacks, free fruit, and free Wi-Fi. Hill Rock Pool Villas have three floors: the top floor bedroom has views through the treetops over the bay, and the middle level is an outdoor living area with drinks, sofas, and the pool. These villas are accessed by a flight of steps from the main path. Lagoon Pool Villas sit on the lake, and Grand Lagoon Pool Villas are two adjoining villas with a shared dining area and pool -- ideal for families and friend groups. Beachfront Villas have views of the sea from their master bed, and the large living area can be split to add an extra bedroom if required. 

Bathrooms are nicely finished in a natural style, with soaking tubs and separate rainfall showers, ceramic countertop sinks, and hand-made bath products. Lagoon and Beachfront Villas also feature outdoor showers and tubs, dual basins, and swinging seats. Private butlers attend each villa.

L'Alyana has its own private beach, with paddle boats and kayaks available for use. There's a floating platform for sunbathing, loungers with sunshades, a beach volleyball net, and a covered beach bar with sofas and a TV. For working out, there's a small air-conditioned gym with a selection of cardio and weight-bearing equipment, with 360 degree views through its glass walls. Regular yoga sessions are held at locations throughout the resort, including sunrise yoga on the beach. To relax, a spa is nestled in the forest, with a menu of treatments and massages. Villas have private plunge pools, or there's the main infinity pool on the waterfront with cabanas and sun loungers. The restaurant beside the pool has a range of seating including tables and sofas, and serves a menu with Vietnamese and Western influences throughout the day, with plenty of fresh produce grown in the on-site Chef's Garden. The resort has a meeting room, and offers an airport transfer service, plus a program of activities including cooking classes, fishing, and bike rentals. Wi-Fi is free, though it can be patchy, but there is a business center with internet access on computers.
