Bottom Line

Grandview East and West is yet another Panama City high-rise for the beach lover. The white sand beach here is gorgeous, but the two pools are both small and have a utilitarian feel that is incongruous with the gorgeous Gulf views. Condos are pleasant with large bathrooms and balconies, although decor varies wildly between units and some furnishings are dated. As with many area condos, services and amenities are slim, although Grandview does offer a sunny fitness center with great views and Gulf-side grilling platforms with picnic tables.

Location

On the eastern side of the Panama City beaches

Grandview is located on the more crowded east side of the white sand stretch belonging to Panama City. Edging a bit closer to downtown than most other resorts in the area, Grandview has easy access to the most popular local places like Pier Park.Panama City is a Florida family beach town with all that implies. The area is full of put-put golf, amusement parks, shopping, and the beautiful St. Andrews State Park. The park has the virtues of white sand beaches, nature trails, and plenty of opportunities for water sports. Panama City also has a downtown area with more vintage charm than most similar beach towns. Downtown, visitors can find seasonal events and art shows as well as live music and shopping.- 31-minute drive to NW Florida Beaches International Airport
