Its helpful staff and wonderful location across the street from the white sand and turquoise water of Patong Beach makes for many return guests. The Bliss draws couples and families keen on soaking up the sun at the beach or pool, where the vibe is somewhat trendy, though tempered with lots of leafy trees, palms, and large gray boulders. The buildings' white balconies overlook the curving free-form pools, lined with black sun loungers draped in the hotel's neon-green beach towels. The Carpe Diem cafe has a covered terrace beside the pool, where guests can order drinks and catch some shade. The Carouselle restaurant has a vaguely futuristic look, with its curved, wood-paneled ceiling and plastic chairs crowding a room with sea views.
