RCNT Chalets

This hotel comprises a collection of cabins clustered near Lake Superior and Mont-Tremblant. There’s no reception or check-in office; travelers arrive at their cabin and are met by staff if they need assistance. The property is large and filled with wooded areas and lots of greenery in the summer and snow in the winter. A short walk takes guests to the lake, which has outdoor fire pits, a pool with a sundeck, and sports activities like sand volleyball and tennis. The setting is peaceful and relaxed, drawing plenty of couples, families, and groups of friends who want a quiet weekend in the woods filled with skiing, lake fun, or hiking. 

The property is located in the woods right near Lake Superior. Depending on where your cabin is located, it’s a short walk or drive to the lakeside. A car is necessary, and most attractions are within a few minutes' drive, such as Mont-Tremblant National Park (10-minute drive), Mont-Tremblant Resort (a 20-minute drive away), and Casino Mont-Tremblant (18 minutes away). The nearest restaurant is about a five-minute walk from some cabins or a short drive, and more dining options can be reached in 10 to 20 minutes by car. Mont-Tremblant International Airport is about an hour away by car, while Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport can be reached in an hour and 20 minutes. Montreal is about an hour-and-a-half away by car.

These wooden cabins have a cozy rustic style with spare decor, wooden floors, stone fireplaces, nature-themed photographs or simple art pieces, and sleek brown leather sofas and chairs. Cabins have three to five bedrooms as well as living rooms and dining areas, and can accommodate up to 10 guests. All have kitchens with sinks, stoves, ovens, toasters, microwaves, dishwashers, coffeemakers (with free coffee), refrigerators, cookware, dishes, and utensils, plus all chalets have washers and dryers. They also have modern features like heating and air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DVDs, MP3 players, phones, and free Wi-Fi. 

Decks with seating and grills make for lovely areas to gather outside in the afternoons, plus some chalets have hot tubs that add a hint of romance and relaxation. There’s plenty of privacy with the surrounding woods and greenery, plus the cabins are well spaced apart. There are multiple bathrooms per chalet. They're clean and contemporary and include showers, deep tubs, and hairdryers -- but only hand soap is provided. Travelers might want to bring items like detergent for the washer/dryer, spices, cooking oil, etc. For those who need refills on coffee or have issues with the rooms, it usually takes a call to the staff who will send someone out to help or restock items. There is no daily housekeeping included in rates -- but it's available for an extra charge.

There is a recreational area for guest use that's situated a short walk or drive away from the cabins. It includes a lovely outdoor pool with a sundeck lined with yellow loungers. Outdoor sports like sand volleyball and tennis are available, plus guests can use canoes supplied by the property. A dock jets into Lake Superior and has a few paddle boats tied to it as well. Free Wi-Fi and parking is available at each chalet. Note that there is no bar, restaurant, or convenience shop on-site.
