Location

Near Parque Forestal in the Providencia neighborhood

This Best Western Plus is located in Providencia, a neighborhood in the northern central part of Santiago. The neighborhood is quite grand as it used to be the seat of high society, with some politicians and aristocrats still residing there. There are many high-rise apartments, as well as old elegant houses. It also contains Barrio Suecia, a neighborhood brimming with pubs and nightclubs, and Barrio Bellavista, home to many bohemian artists. Within its borders are the embassies for China, Russia, and Italy, and the Cerro San Cristobal, the famous tall hill that towers above the entire city. The nearest subway stop to the hotel is a 12-minute walk away.Santiago has long been known as a stopover city used for connections to other exciting sites in South America, but in the last 15 years it has gained ground as a sophisticated metropolis. A purely economic and political center for Chile has given way to increasingly respected dining, great shopping, and lots of bike paths. With a decent underground system, fun nightlife, and proximity to the Andes for skiing, Santiago has a lot to offer.- 29-minute drive to Arturo Merino Benitez Airport
