The hotel doesn’t have a bar, though the restaurant next door does serve lunch and dinner. The property is not too far from nearby cities, including Sicli and Ragusa, making it a good base for exploring the southeast coast of Sicily. Rooms are simple and there's no gym, but this property has a nice, laid-back vibe.

The cozy hotel is well maintained and has a simple and casual vibe. It's a good choice for couples looking for a beach vacation, but its lack of child-focused facilities and amenities means families may want to look elsewhere. In keeping with its barren surroundings, the all-white building is dotted with what look like portholes at the top. Inside, it's stylishly decorated in shades of white, sand, and blue, with seashells and starfish in frames and placed out on shelves. The lobby has small woven pod chairs and shabby-chic wooden benches. The rooftop breakfast room is simple, with small, white cafe tables, birdcage light fixtures, and a stunning view of the water from the covered deck.

There is a rocky beach in front of the hotel and a sandy beach is only a two-minute walk away. It’s a 20-minute drive to Sicli, 35 minutes to Ragusa, and about 75 minutes to Siracusa. It’s an hour and 40 minutes from the Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
