The lovely (albeit small) pool overlooks the Gulf of Naples, but as it only has chairs, guests will have to go to the solarium to sunbathe on loungers. Guests can walk to town in about 10 minutes, but should be aware that the hotel's location on a main road means walking alongside fast traffic. Popular with couples and families alike, this hotel has a more relaxed vibe than some of the downtown Sorrento properties. The arched entryway and marble stairs set the Mediterranean tone as guests enter the hotel. The lobby is outfitted with gray-and-white-checkered marble floors and a large front desk, plus a casual seating area includes plush sofas, potted plants, and framed prints that add some character to the white walls. The grounds are more impressive than the interiors, with a mix of grassy spaces and paved pathways, as well as numerous vantage points for looking out over the sea and to Mount Vesuvius.

The hotel is located on the Via Capo -- the westbound road exiting Sorrento -- a three-minute drive or 10-minute walk to the center of town. Since the hotel sits on a main road without sidewalks, guests walking to town have to be cautious of the adjacent traffic. Attractions within a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive include Dali Universe, Piazza Tasso, Marina Grande, Wonderwall Art Gallery, and Wooden Marquetry Workshop-Museum. The Naples Airport is about an hour away by car. Though it requires a fee, the hotel offers parking, which is a rarity in Sorrento.

For sunbathing on loungers, guests will have to head to the hotel's solarium. Both of these areas have spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius also in the distance. A free buffet breakfast is served daily and consists mostly of fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, cereal, and pastries. The breakfast area is open and airy, with both an indoor area and a terrace overlooking the water; it doubles as a bar later in the day. Though there is no gym or spa, in-room massages can be booked through the 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and parking is available for a fee.
