Quality Inn & Suites Montclair

Quality Inn & Suites Montclair is located on a large property with beautiful gardens, surrounded by the famous red rock formations of Zion. The lobby is in a small building as you enter the property's grounds, with a small circular wooden reception desk, yellow and beige walls, and free tea and coffee stand. The hotel is built like a motel, with exterior-facing rooms and open corridors. There is ample outdoor space available on the property, with lush green lawns and tall trees providing shade and seclusion. The outdoor pool area is fenced off and includes a few surrounding sun loungers and seating -- the area is also partially shaded in the afternoons which is nice in the summer months. This is a busy property, full of park visitors seeking a comfortable place to stay during their adventures. Note that the hotel closes from the end of November through February. 

Located on the southern end of Springdale's main drag, Quality Inn & Suites Montclair has the feel of being in a secluded location while still being close to the area's attractions. The immediate area is mostly residential and commercial properties within the center of Springdale. There are a variety of dining and shopping options within a 15-minute walk or two-minute drive. The beautiful Zion Canyon, with hiking, biking, climbing, and swimming activities, is a three-minute drive from the property. The Zion National Park entrance can be reached within a five-minute drive. The ghost town of Grafton is a 15-minute drive from the property. There's a free shuttle that runs throughout Springdale and takes visitors to all Zion National Park stops, and it stops right in front of the hotel. McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas is about a three-hour drive. Salt Lake City International Airport is about four and a half hours by car.

The 36 rooms at Quality Inn & Suites Montclair are clean, fresh, and nicely sized. Decor remains the same for all room options: dark brown carpets, headboards, nightstands, and desks give the rooms a dark backdrop, but soft-yellow and beige painted walls, beige drapes, and white linens help lighten things. Each room features a collection of beautiful nature-inspired artwork on the walls. Many rooms offer mountain views, while others have views of the wide-open hotel grounds. Amenities in all rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, microwaves, mini-fridges, desks, telephones, irons and ironing boards, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include shower/tub combos and come with a hairdryer, toiletries, and coffeemakers. Selected King Suites feature an in-room hot tub. Note, there are no elevators to second-floor units, access is via a stairway.

Most guests will use Quality Inn & Suites Montclair as merely a base for exploring the area. Features are there to make the little time spent at the hotel enjoyable. There's a free buffet breakfast, including hot items like eggs, sausages, and fresh waffles. This is the only meal served on the property, and there's no full restaurant on-site. Guests can grab a free cup of tea or coffee in the lobby throughout the day and there are also a few snacks and beverages on sale.
