Bottom Line

The four-pearl Vital Hotel is a 63-room, boutique business property located inside of a tower building. Rooms here are spacious, spotless, and classically modern with luxe touches such as 417 toiletries and large walk-in showers, convenient features like kitchenettes and water bars, and comfy beds. Guests with business lounge access get free drinks, snacks, and booze with 12th-floor views, while everyone gets to dig into the free Mediterranean breakfast buffet. Other big pluses include free access to a 21,000-square-foot fitness center and contemporary meeting rooms, however the setting next to a hospital and the outdoor security checks aren't for everyone. It's just room service here (with limited menus on Saturday), so if you're looking for a business hotel with a dedicated restaurant, it's worth checking out the Leonardo City Tower, which also has a spa and rooftop pool.

Oyster Hotel Review

Vital Hotel Tel Aviv

Scene

Boutique hotel with lots of style and convenient features for both business travelers and tourists

Vital Hotel came on the scene in the mid-2000s as a boutique hotel focused on business travelers. The hotel is housed inside a tall tower that shares space with doctor's offices and other businesses. At first, the building's reception area may be confused for the hotel, but the hotel's entrance and reception area are nestled farther inside, past the elevators. Vital Hotel may be inside a tower, but it's a small hotel with just 63 rooms. Guests in-the-know consider it a hidden gem; it's spotless, smart, stylish, and rooms are stocked with thoughtful conveniences like water bars, kitchenettes, minibars with free water and energy bars, and reliable, fast Wi-Fi.

Business is the main game here, though tourists also frequent the hotel thanks to its central location and walking distance to several fashion stores, museums, and performance venues. It's worth noting that the hotel is also secure, but that this extra security means guests have to bee screened before entering the hotel grounds.

Rooms

Spotless and stylish rooms with comfort and convenient features

Vital's 63 spacious rooms have an elegant modern style that features beautiful parquet wood laminate floors, a neutral color palette, and inviting beds. Things like minibars, work desks, and electronic safes add convenience, while robes, slippers, and Sea of Spa Dead Sea toiletries add comfort. Rooms are spotless, TVs measure at least 40 inches, and the air-conditioning is powerful.

Single Junior Rooms are the smallest and most affordable, as they're designed for one person. These rooms have all the same standard features, plus a shower-only bathroom. Executive Rooms are the baseline for double occupancy, with a shower/tub combo and large Israeli double bed. Longer stays may want to look into the Executive Room Plus Kitchenette which can sleep up to four thanks to the sleeper sofa. This unit also has a small kitchen area with a microwave, sink, tableware, and a junior-sized refrigerator that fits under the counter.

Upgrades to the Club Rooms snag free bottled water and an on-arrival gift. Guests in these rooms also get access to the business lounge, free newspapers delivered to the room, and a minibar stocked with water and energy bars. For the most part, these are laid out the same as the Executives kitchenette rooms, but without the kitchenette area. Family Rooms bring the kitchenette back into play and can sleep up to five. The Deluxe Suites also sleep up to five and each has a separate living area with a couch, armchairs, and larger 48-inch TV, plus a breakfast nook off the kitchenette. This is a shower-only room.

Each suite gets upgraded 417 toiletries in the bathroom, including conditioner and a vanity kit. Executive Suites are located on higher floors and have DVD players, bar seating in the kitchens, and small TVs in both bedrooms. Bathrooms are large with digital scales, dual rainfall showerheads, and wet bars in the master bedrooms. Features

Great free breakfast, excellent off-site fitness facility, and business features

Vital's free breakfast receives positive reviews from past guests. Served on the 12th floor with a side of city views, the tasty Mediterranean buffet is a departure from the usual Israeli-style breakfast buffets here in the city. The breakfast room is located next to the small, casual business lounge. Guests with access to the business lounge have their pick of fresh pastries, cheeses, drinks, booze, and seating. Up here is where visitors will also find the meeting rooms and self-printing services. As Vital bills itself as a business hotel, it's unsurprising that they have some of the most sophisticated and intuitive meetings rooms in town. In addition to the 65-inch media center, a table that seats up to 24, and two individual Wi-Fi networks, there's also a kitchenette, leather-seated lounge area, and great views. Catering is available.

Room service consists of Eastern European and Israeli dishes and the hotel is able to cater to dietary restrictions. There's also a gym, located off-site about two minutes away on foot. Vital guests are able to use the nearby, 21,000-square-foot fitness center found in the tower compound for free. This includes access to pilates classes, a cycling and kickboxing studio, and the usual free weights and machines. Unfortunately, there are no full restaurant or pool on-site.

Freebies include fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and extra perks like free wine and water for those that book through their website.
