Neptuno Aparthotel

The Neptuno is a small, quiet property popular among couples and families on a budget. It is basic and offers few on-site amenities, but with three pools, a playground, and spacious studios and one-bedroom apartments at super low rates, it offers good value. Decor is dated, with simple wooden furniture in common spaces and rooms, and few ornaments on walls. The lobby is airy and bright, and features whicker furniture with red upholstering, and ceiling fans. The grounds are pleasant and quiet, with the occasional cracked tile, and lots of cacti and palm trees. Small gardens with local black stones and sand contrast with the white façade, and arched windows with dark green wooden frames and railings make the property cute and appealing. The beach is a little far, but rates are some of the lowest around, and amenities decent for the price.

The hotel is located on a hill on the other side of a highway from the central part of town. There are a shopping mall and a few restaurants and bars a short stroll away, but this area is for the most part residential and quiet. Playa Torviscas, one of the longest beaches in Costa Adeje, is a 15-minute walk away, but note that the walk back is uphill and can be challenging for some. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the beach and to the city center, and cabs are inexpensive. Guests looking to explore other beaches can take a cab or drive to Las Américas, Los Cristianos, and La Caleta in less than 10 minutes, and those who prefer to use public transportation can take a bus to all of the area’s main beaches. Tenerife Sur Airport can be reached by car in 15 minutes, and by bus in about an hour.

Decor is mostly basic, with simple wooden furniture, thin bedspreads, and dated technologies. Coin-operated TVs, telephones, and safes (for a fee) are all there is in the way of amenities. Balconies are furnished with plastic chairs and a table, and bathrooms are clean and feature shower/tub combos and hairdryers. One-bedroom Apartments have a sofa bed in the separate living area, and Studios have a simple couch next to the beds. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby for a fee.
