Oyster Hotel Review

Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale

Scene

Family-friendly with tropical atrium buzzing with activity

The action at this large hotel is centered on its expansive lobby, where a classy and comfortable seating area greets guests. The space is set with brown leather couches and chairs with light wood tables and wall paneling. This area leads to a front desk and elevator bank where pink marble tile and ceiling mirrors create a bright and sophisticated environment. A third distinctly different atmosphere appears in the large and open atrium, where skylights illuminate the pool area accented by tropical plants and lounge chairs. A whirlpool, sauna room, fitness center, and game area with ping-pong and Nerf tennis court are adjacent. A large, cascading fountain overlooks the atrium, as does the restaurant and bar, which is also accented with light wood and red leather chairs. This is a busy place with lots of families as well as business travelers.
