Whistler Village, United States
Ideal location off the main drag, but still in Whistler Village
Free continental breakfast
Free Wi-Fi in rooms
Indoor Jacuzzi and sauna
Inviting lobby area, with a fireplace and room to lounge
Comfortable, if simple, rooms
Pricey parking fees
Average, chain-like decor
Could use updates, especially to the bathrooms
This 98-room mid-range hotel was formerly a Best Western. Although it lacks the charm or character of some other Whistler hotels, it offers its guests convenience in multiple forms: free in-room amenities such as Wi-Fi, coffee, and mini-fridges; a great location that's just a street over from Whistler Village's main drag; and equipment storage for summer and winter sports. The continental breakfast, although basic and sometimes crowded, is another free perk. On the negative side, the rooms feel dated, with some stained surfaces and nicked furnishings. Overall, it's still a solid value pick.
Location
Conveniently located in Whistler Village, but off the main drag
The hotel is located in Whistler Village, but not on the main drag. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and attractions are within walking distance from the hotel, as are the lifts in Skiers Plaza.
Whistler Village is the hub of Whistler's activity, and is where visitors can find the famous gondolas that carry skiers and snowboarders up the mountain. Easiest to navigate by foot, this neighborhood has plenty of pedestrian walkways, and many trails link the Village to different parks, golf courses, and lake beaches. Whistler Village offers plenty of shopping and a variety of restaurants (including fast food chains), coffee shops, and bars.
