Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center

The Hilton Garden Inn sits in a big parking lot shared with a large office building and another hotel. Inside, the lobby can be busy with guests -- a mix of couples, families, and business travelers drawn to the modern property's convenient location. Bright with natural light that pours in through tall windows, the lobby is spacious yet cozy, with a cream, beige, and muted red palette. Paisley print armchairs and neutral couches are positioned throughout the space, and there’s a two-sided fireplace, above which hangs a colorful photograph of autumn leaves. Features like oversized tabletop lanterns lend a homey vibe, while sheer curtains surrounding ceiling lamps create a unique focal point. The restaurant serves dinner, but feels more like a breakfast area, as it’s just a bunch of tables in the lobby with blue-cushioned chairs. A station with coffee dispensers and a glass dispenser filled with fruit-infused water is a thoughtful touch. 

Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center is within a few minutes' walk of a grocery store and the Mayfaire Town Center shopping mall, which has over 65 stores, 20 restaurants, and a movie theater. There are plenty more bars and restaurants within a couple minutes' drive, including several just off Military Cutoff Road. It's around a 10-minute drive to the Wrightsville Beach. University of North Carolina-Wilmington is less than a 10-minute drive away, and Wilmington International Airport is around a 20-minute drive from the hotel. 

Rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn are clean and spacious with homey decor: Picture creamy walls, soft-green love seats, maroon-patterned carpeting, and neutral floor-length curtains. Rooms are well-lit, and touched up with framed black-and-white photographs and drawings. Wooden desks and ergonomic chairs are added conveniences. All rooms have microwaves, mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen HDTVs. Bathrooms are cozy with yellow-striped wallpaper and wall-mounted lamps; each has a shower/tub combo and Neutrogena toiletries. Suites are available with living room areas and sofa beds. 

The hotel has a small outdoor pool with rattan lounge chairs. The Garden Grille & Bar serves breakfast and dinner daily, and has a small bar open in the evenings.
