vibrant pedestrian scenes below. Inside, the vibe is relaxed, but it feels more like a normal apartment building than a hotel. There's no real lobby, just a red
marble hallway that leads to a light-filled marble-and-iron staircase and an elevator. There is, however, an office on-site for check-in. Guests here include couples and families, though long-term business travelers make up the majority of guests, owing largely to the extra space and home-like character of the
units.

lane lined with tapas restaurants, bars, and upscale shops in Barcelona’s trendy Born district. The Picasso Museum is a three-minute walk away while the Barcelona
Cathedral and La Rambla are both eight minutes away on foot. La Ciutadella Park, a seven-minute walk from the apartments, has a zoo and plenty of space to run around. There are plenty
of options for stocking the kitchens in the area. Boqueria Market -- the city’s
most famous produce market -- is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, while the 24-hour
Annie’s Market is just four minutes away on foot. The Jaume I Metro stop is just
around the corner (two minutes on foot) for farther flung destinations. Reaching
Barcelona’s El Prat International Airport takes 20 minutes by taxi or about 40
minutes by taking the metro to the Aerobus stop at Plaza Catalunya.

and attractive in all apartments. The overall vibe is home-like, and all units have neutral-tiled floors, modern oak-veneer
tables and cabinets, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, and overstuffed furniture (including
sofa beds in some units). Some also have charming terraces that are perfect for outdoor dining on warm nights, though
none have particularly pretty views. Kitchens have a contemporary look and feel, and stainless steel appliances include microwaves, toasters,
electric kettles, coffeemakers, and dishwashers. All units also have washer/dryers and safes. Apartments have lots of storage space and plenty of towels and linens, and while there's no housekeeping service, the hotel will change linens once at no extra cost. The dining areas are sleek and simple, though they often share space with the living rooms. Bedrooms are outfitted with Ikea-style white furniture and come with desks and/or wardrobes, and beds with colorful throw pillows and blankets. Cribs and high chairs are provided for families with young children at no extra cost. Bathrooms are impeccably clean, though some are more modern than others and
