This 46-room value hotel combines modern comforts with classic European touches, such as French balconies that overlook a quiet street in the Eixample district. The Hotel Constanza prides itself on providing a hip atmosphere: communal areas have low lighting and stylish decor. The earthy color palette and modern vibe extend to the guest rooms, which offer updated amenities and spacious bathrooms with sleek, minimalist fixtures. Some rooms are a bit on the dark side, though, as ones in the rear of the hotel may face a brick wall. Location
A quieter location in the Eixample District, close to some of the city's finest examples of modernist architecture
The Hotel Constanza has a nice position in the Eixample district, just outside of the city center. This area is renowned for its modernist architecture (including famous works by Antoni Gaudí) and there are various landmarks to see near the hotel. One of Gaudí's most whimsical creations, known as Casa Batlló, is less than a 15-minute walk away. This distinctive building looks straight out of a fairytale and can be explored both inside and out, since it currently operates as a museum. The Hotel Constanza stands on a side street, which keeps it quiet at night, yet restaurants, shops, and public transportation are all within close proximity. The Urquinaona Metro Station is less than a five-minute walk away.In addition to its eccentric architecture, Eixample is known for a vibrant nightlife scene, with many trendy bars and clubs found here, especially in the gay section (which is popularly known as Gayxample).- 19-minute drive or 59-minute bus ride from Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN)
