Slightly dated spa hotel
The spacious Senator Barcelona Spa Hotel is clean and speckled with unique decor, ranging from the garden and fountain that marks the entryway to the piano in the lobby bar. The lobby is big and open, but not particularly luxurious. The spa features an underwater theme with bright yellow walls split by blue painted waves and showers and whirlpools nestled into fake rock. It’s slightly odd but creative and welcoming.

Residential location close to stadium, cafes, and university
In the quiet, residential neighborhood of Les Corts, the Senator is not in the center of Barcelona but the Metro station (Collblanc is the closest) is a five-minute walk away and allows for easy access to the city center. From there, it's a 15-minute ride to the heart of Barcelona, which lies about 4.5 miles away. Camp Nou Stadium is 10 minutes away by foot. There is a bus stop right across the street and a grocery story and several cafes within easy walking distance.
