The property is made of up of four converted brownstones. Guests arriving at the main entrance are greeted by a small desk next to an exposed brick wall. A narrow staircase leads up to the top two floors. Guests can lounge in the cozy, if dated, parlor area with a blue Berber-style carpet; brown leather armchairs are clustered around a fireplace framed by an oak mantel. Traditional art decorates the walls. A small kitchen area is available for guests' use and includes a fridge and microwave. These are quiet and comfortable areas to sit and linger, but guests are typically on the run and eager to explore all that Boston has to offer.

The Hynes Convention Center and its major T (subway) station is a seven-minute walk,
while Fenway Park is a 10-minute walk away. Several schools are in walking distance, including the Berklee College of Music (three minutes), Northeastern University (six minutes), and Boston
University (15 minutes). The Museum of Fine
Arts, Boston is a 12-minute walk away, and Boston Common can be reached in 11 minutes via public
transit. Boston Logan International Airport is approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car or 45 minutes by public transit.

Guests generally praise the rooms for being clean, but they're cramped and offer little space; some of the entry-level rooms are barely more than beds and dressers. Bathrooms are either shared or private, but they're all small and spartan, with shower/tub combos or walk-in showers with curtains. All rooms include phones, towels, and toiletries.
