Scene
Modern hotel with sleek lounge and pretty roof terrace
Inside a tall, blue
building, the sleek front desk at Hotel LBP is in a bright, white space with sparkling
overhead lighting, clear, plastic chairs, and a funky, white sofa. The adjacent lounge
area looks like a small cafe with plastic white and black chairs where guests, (predominantly couples) can sit and enjoy the free refreshments such as coffee, muffins, and
fresh fruit. A bookshelf is stocked with magazines and books for guests to read in the room,
and there are also DVDs for the adjoining theater room which has a wall-mounted
flat-screen TV and a long, white couch. The outdoor terrace is a pretty space
with yellow flowers in planters and wicker furniture with decorative pillows
under an umbrella. Exposed ductwork and pipes give the restaurant a somewhat industrial
feel, while lime green chairs and blue walls add a cheery vibe to the space. Overall the hotel's atmosphere is sleek, minimal, and a touch romantic.
