From the outside, WelcomHotel Dwarka looks a bit dull thanks to a concrete exterior broken up by dark turquoise windows. Inside, things are trendier. The circular-shaped lobby stands out with a cascading staircase that leads to a purple rug surrounded by shiny silver columns. However, the upscale atmosphere can be marred by a lack of air-conditioning in public spaces. Though the lobby is visually striking, other public spaces like the restaurants are showing some wear. Pavilion 75 is homey and low-key with gray carpet and green and orange chairs. At first glance, Shanghai Club is stylish with black tables and chairs, dark wood flooring, and purple lighting, but upon closer inspection, the bar, wood floors, and booths are visibly scuffed. The hotel attracts mostly business travelers who prefer to be near the airport and appreciate meeting amenities. However, the hotel also receives a lot of families thanks to family-friendly policies like two kids under 12 stay for free, kids under three eat free, and kids between the ages of three and 12 receive a 50-percent discount towards meals. 

WelcomHotel Dwarka is perfect for those who want to be close to Indira Gandhi International Airport. When viewing a map, the hotel looks as if it sits next to the airport, but in reality, it takes about a 35-minute drive to reach the entrance. There’s not a lot of dining options on surrounding streets, but there is a bus stop outside the hotel's entrance and a metro stop that’s a five-minute walk away. The most popular attractions of New Delhi like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, and Humuyan’s Tomb take an hour to reach by car. 

In-room decor is modern and smart with light tiled floors, glossy headboards, and blue and gray accents. There are nice touches in the handsome armchairs, couches, and dark wooden furniture. Room amenities include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, free bottled water, kettles, safes, and minibars. Wi-Fi is available, but costs a fee for those who don’t book directly through the website. Nightly turndown service and fruit upon request are great additional perks. Bathrooms have stark concrete walls that contrast nicely with the glossy brown sink countertops and the white vessel sinks. Showers, toiletries, and hairdryers are standard. Smoking rooms are available for booking. Take note that some complaints have been made about cleanliness issues in rooms. 

WelcomHotel Dwarka manages to satisfy different types of travelers by casting a wide net of amenities. There’s an outdoor swimming pool with some loungers. However, the stark concrete environment is anything but lively and there have been some cleanliness complaints concerning the pool. Dining options are diverse and begin with a free breakfast buffet of hot and cold items in the morning. For lunch, guests can have a multi-cuisine buffet at Pavilion 75. For dinner, there's specialty dining at K&K which serves Indian food, or at Shanghai Club which offers Chinese cuisine. Though there’s a good selection of dining options, there have been complaints about restaurant service and buffets running out of items. 

Other leisure features include a spa with massages, beauty treatments, and a hair salon, as well as a so-so gym with dated cardio equipment, some free weights, and a punching bag. Business travelers can take advantage of perks like four meeting facilities and a spacious business center and lounge. Valet parking is available. Wi-Fi is provided, but it’s only free for those who book directly on the hotel’s website.
