The faux period corniced ceiling (it's just wallpaper) is a bit of a disappointment, but overall the decor is tasteful and stylish. The hotel is geared toward business travelers and tourists (including families and groups) who don't mind paying a bit more for the extra living amenities and a central London location.

The street is lined with majestic pale gray period facades, with The Grand hotel across the street and a gym next door.
