Sat on Canyamel’s beach, a rugged, sandy bay shaded by gnarled olive trees, the Melbeach Hotel benefits from a tranquil, seafront location that is nonetheless next to the center of town. Canyamel is a tiny city, with a limited number of restaurants and shops, and very little in the way of nightlife or shops. The town also attracts a majority of German travelers and as such, caters to them. The nearest large town is Cala Ratjada, a 20-minute drive away, while Palma is an hour away by car. Expect transfers to Palma Majorca Airport to take 70 minutes by car.
