Oyster Hotel Review
Romantic, peaceful inn
The Inn on Randolph caters mainly to the upscale visitors drawn by Napa’s food and wine culture. The property is popular for weddings and private parties, which are often held in the adjacent garden and courtyard. Cooking classes are also sometimes held in the kitchen area, which is near and open to the dining room. The common areas are pleasant and calm in neutral tones, with wood floors, overstuffed settees, and framed artwork. It is often frequented by couples celebrating honeymoons and anniversaries.
Walking distance to many businesses in downtown Napa
The property, set on a quiet residential street surrounded by trees, is about a 25-minute walk from famous Oxbow Market, the luxury foods haven central to the town’s downtown street life. Napa is a little under 2-hours’ drive from the San Francisco Airport. There is parking on the street around the hotel; Napa’s wineries are all easily accessible from the Inn on Randolph by car.
Airy, comfortable rooms outfitted in neutral tones
The rooms here are California-chic in decor. They are accented with neutral fabrics in whites and taupes, and furnished with Victorian-style stuffed chairs, wood writing desks, and the occasional wall-hung painting. Some rooms are stand-alone cottage-style apartments with outdoor patios, while others are rooms within the main house, some of which have private entrances accessible via a set of exterior stairs. All rooms have air-conditioning and heat as well as wood commodes and desks, robes, and iPod docks. A few guests have commented that the temperature control units are on the loud side, and that some rooms may receive noise from adjacent ones.
Rooms and Rates
