While the hotel entrance looks unassuming from the street outside, the lobby is attractive and welcoming, with a small, comfortable seating area, tiled floors, and a large wooden front desk. A fountain and plenty of plants add a sense of calm that contrasts with the busy street outside. There's also a small souvenir area next to a public computer and printer. Elevators are right in the lobby and hallways lead to the indoor courtyard, guest laundry facilities, and the fitness center. The hotel’s restaurant, Doc Magilligan's Irish Pub, has a entrance from the lobby and a second, separate outdoor entrance.

The Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel is located on a busy highway in the Lundy's Lane tourist district between a McDonalds and a paint shop, and it's a short walk from a variety of restaurants and shops. While the street has a lot of traffic and isn’t particularly attractive, there are a number of dining and entertainment options, and guests are around a 10-minute drive from Niagara Falls. Other nearby attractions include outlet shopping, museums, golfing, and casinos.
