The hotel offers 30 rooms with solid amenities for a mid-range property, including flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and minibars. The property does have a central location that makes visiting Otranto, Torre dell, and the other resort areas on the Adriatic coast fairly convenient by car.
Scene
Stylish and modern
The hotel is stylish, with light wood walls and furniture in shades of gray. There are subtle floral patterns around the lobby, with some stenciled on the walls and others cut out of a black decorative screen. Vine-like shelves holding books add to the floral theme. The decor is echoed in the other public spaces, including a spacious room that houses a large breakfast area and small bar. The guest rooms are similarly modern and bright.
Location
In a small Salento village and a short drive to the coast
The hotel sits beside a road in a small village in Salento. There are restaurants in the village, but better eating is to be had in Otranto, which is about 20 minutes away by car. It’s possible to reach the Adriatic coast in less than 15 minutes by car, and it’s about a 45-minute ride to the beaches on the west coast.
Rooms
Large, bright, and modern, with standard three-pearl amenities
The hotel's stylish, modern design carries over to the 30 guest rooms, which are large and offer beautiful hardwood floors, dark gray bedspreads, and framed orange floral prints over the beds. The bathrooms have a fresh, colorful look, with modern sinks and white walls punched up by orange and blue touches throughout (including blue accent tiles covering the floors and the shower walls). Upgrading to a Superior Room gets you a larger, more luxe bathroom, complete with a whirlpool tub. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, minibars, safes, and hairdryers.
Features
Large breakfast area, small bar, and sleek TV room, but little else
The free buffet breakfast has a variety of hot and cold items and is served in a large breakfast area, which also has a small bar with plenty of local wines available. There’s also a sleek TV room with a wall-mounted, flat-screen television; a modern couch; and oversize ottomans. However, the property lacks any other public amenities, with no pool, fitness center, or full-service restaurant. The hotel offers discounts at restaurants close to the property and freebies include self-parking and Wi-Fi.
