Contemporary rooms with flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and updated bathrooms
Seasonal outdoor pool and Jacuzzi
Large, modern business center and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
Free shuttle bus to the city center
Modern (but tiny) fitness center
Nice salon with a few massage rooms
Walking distance to a few restaurants and bars
Far from tourist attractions and only a bus stop nearby (but free shuttle to city center)
Some rooms are small (even for European standards)
Expensive, average breakfast
Mediocre restaurant
Uncomfortable folding bed in triple rooms
Clean, contemporary (if generic) rooms with flat-screen TVs and iPod docks; free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel; a large business center; and a free shuttle to the city center make the upper-middle-range H10 Roma Citta an adequate pick for the business traveler. But the on-site restaurant is mediocre, some rooms are really tight, and the hotel itself is far from tourist sites. Leisure travelers might want to consider other properties that are more centrally located.
Location
In Marconi neighborhood, which is OK for business travelers since it's not too far from the airport -- but far from tourist attractions
H10 Roma Citta is located on a desolate street in the Marconi neighborhood, an uninteresting residential area southwest of the city center. There are several restaurants and a bus stop within a few blocks, but little more.Other public transportation options are a good 15 minutes from the hotel, and the shuttle service provided free of charge by the hotel, though very convenient, fills up quickly. The historic Trastevere neighborhood and the Vatican are just north of Marconi, but it’s quite a walk to the public transportation that will take you there (bus and tram).- 25-minute drive to Ciampino Airport
