The rooms are hit or miss -- some are cozy, clean, and appear recently remodeled, while others are shabby, lack a proper desk, and have stained linens and hard mattresses. The spacious closets and free Wi-Fi are a plus, but the tube TVs and tiny bathroom countertops need to go. The inn offers a free continental breakfast, but it’s just the basics: cereals, bagels, milk, coffee, and juice. Luckily a number restaurants are nearby, so dining options aren't terribly limited. There's no pool or fitness center, but extremely low rates may be all a traveler wants -- making Stone Villa Inn a so-so option for value.
