Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is a luxury resort, located on a cliff for panoramic views of the South China Sea. The resort's decor includes a combination of intricate French design, along with Singapore's colonial heritage. The lobby is a large, open-air affair, with an extravagant plush pink ceiling and orchards in the floor tiles. The resort offers a tranquil setting with palm tree-lined swimming pool, ponds, surrounding forests, and roaming peacocks. The large outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers, day beds, and umbrellas. The relaxing and tranquil ambience makes this resort popular among couples and honeymooners. Though there are limited activities available for young kids, families also stay here. 

The resort is located on the quieter side of Sentosa Island, next to Tanjong Golf Course and surrounding forests. It's only a two-minute walk to Tanjong Beach, and 12-minute walk to Serapong Golf Course. It's a seven-minute drive to the island's main tourist attraction, Resort World -- the massive entertainment complex that includes Universal Studios. Singapore's mainland downtown area is a 15-minute drive via the Sentosa Gateway. There's not much in the way of public transport surrounding the hotel, however the resort does offer a free shuttle service to VivoCity Shopping Mall and Paragon Shopping Centre, where there are also bus stops and subway stations. It's a 25-minute cab ride to the Changi International Airport.

The 215 guest rooms at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa feature Parisian-style decor, inspired by Paris's Jardin du Luxembourg. Touches of nature can be found throughout the room, from the leaf motifs above the beds to the orchid carpeting laid on the hardwood flooring. The uniquely designed fridge and glassware cabinet, contemporary artwork, and funky furniture add a fun dimension to the spaces. The rooms, suites, villas, and bungalows all include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars, work desks, safes, tea/coffee making facilities, irons and ironing boards, and free Wi-Fi. The large bathrooms also feature contemporary decor with large mirrors, mosaic walls, and modern artwork, including both a walk-in shower and bathtub. Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, and luxury toiletries are provided. The suites, villas, and bungalows include separate rooms and living areas, accommodating up to four guests. The villas also include a private plunge pool and terrace. Turndown service provides a sweet evening treat.

The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa includes many high end features. The three restaurants -- Kwee Zeen, ilLido at the Cliff, and The Garden -- each specialize in their own cuisine, including pan-Asian specialties, French, Italian, and calorie-conscious fare. The buffet breakfast includes a variety of both Western and Asian options, though the meal isn't included in all room rates. The resort hosts different culinary events throughout the week, such as cheese tastings and Champagne brunches. 24-hour room service is available. LeBar, inspired by colonial-era pavilions, offers live music and bespoke cocktails. 

Guests have access to the gleaming 33-meter outdoor swimming pool, as well as the fitness center, mountain bikes, tennis courts, and volleyball court. The So SPA is housed in a heritage-listed 19th century building, and includes 14-indoor treatment rooms, six-outdoor pavilions, lap pool, float pool, and mud pool. 

Seven event spaces are available. These are spread across two floors and can cater for small, medium, and large events and meetings. The hotel offers a golf cart service to chauffeur guests around the resort, and there are free shuttle services to and from VivoCity Shopping Mall and Paragon Shopping Centre. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
