Le Tada Parkview Hotel

Housed in a former apartment building, Le Tada opened as a hotel in 2016. It is fresh and bright throughout, with a neutral beige and white color scheme accented by aqua and gold. A contemporary gold sectional and two chairs sit next to the long white reception desk, providing a space where guests can hang out. Oversized modern light fixtures hang overhead, and lots of windows provide natural light. The look is chic and inviting, and its location next to a park is unusual in bustling Bangkok. The hotel is especially popular with Chinese travelers, as well as groups from Singapore and Malaysia, but it's a solid choice for all types of leisure and business travelers.  

This hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood off Rang Nam Road and across from Santiphap Park. There's not much immediately around the hotel, but it's a short walk to plenty of dining options and malls around the corner, and the Victory Monument Skytrain station is less than 10 minutes away on foot. The Platinum Fashion Mall can be reached in 20 to 25 minutes on foot, or 10 minutes by car. Pratunam Market is a 20-minute walk, or seven-minute drive, and the Siam Paragon shopping mall is a 30-minute walk, or 15-minute drive. Plan on about 30 minutes to reach Suvarnabhumi International Airport by car, or 40 minutes by public transportation from Phaya Thai station.

Located in two buildings, rooms and suites are modern and chic, with fresh color schemes of neutral beige highlighted by sweeps of aqua. Accessories and furniture have wavy edges, and light wood floors and furniture contribute to an overall bright look. Fresh flowers add a nice touch. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, kettles for tea and coffee, mini-fridges, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are modern and attractive, although small, with colorful tiled showers, rainfall showerheads, and toiletries. A glass wall separates the sleeping area from the shower, but modest guests can close the curtains. Robes and slippers are provided. Family rooms sleep three in a king bed plus a single, and suites offer additional space with sofas and chairs plus whirlpool tubs in the bathrooms that are open to the bed area. Some rooms have balconies. Views are over the pool or the park.

Le Tada offers the basic features needed for a comfortable leisure or business stay. Guests can start their day with a breakfast buffet served in a cheerful dining room with selections that include cereals, fruits, breads, pastries, and hot Western and Thai items. The restaurant also serves Thai and international fare for lunch. 

The rectangular outdoor pool is in between the two buildings. It's long enough for swimming short laps, but it's shallow. A few lounge chairs are lined up along one side, and a couple of dining tables and chairs are found on the end, with windows into the restaurant. The fitness center is small, but it offers the requisite cardio and weight-training machines plus free weights and an exercise ball. Although there is no spa, massage services are available.

A corner desk by the elevators in the lobby provides a computer for guests to use. Covered parking is free, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
