Alongside the Spree River on the outskirts of Berlin
The NH Berlin Treptow is not in the center of Berlin. Located on the outskirts of the city, this hotel is a good 20-minute drive from most sights. Restaurant options are few and far between in this industrial area, but it is walking distance to the train station with direct connection to major subway lines. It is near the S-Bahn (Schöneweide light rail station), that transports guests to the heart of Berlin in about 20 minutes. Though not particularly convenient for most visitors, it is a suitable choice for people who have engagements in the Treptow district. As for views, the Spree River backdrop provides a bit of tranquility, though the front side of the hotel does experience traffic noise.
Berlin is the capital and largest city in Germany best known for its lively nightlife (restaurants and bars stay open late), cafes, museums, palaces, street art, and numerous sites of historic interest.
The NH Berlin Treptow is located alongside the River Spree, a 20-minute train ride from the center of Berlin. This hotel, with a simplistic white facade, has 126 rooms and suites. Decor is basic, and clean rooms have work desks, lounge chairs, flat-screen TVs, and duvets. Rooms with river views are quieter than the front-facing rooms, which may experience street noise. The Spreeblick restaurant and lounge has indoor and outdoor service, and is one of the only restaurant options in the neighborhood. Other hotel perks include a small fitness room, sauna, outdoor barbecue facilities, and free parking, but there is a pesky fee for Wi-Fi.
