This Courtyard by Marriott is a converted military hospital just a short drive from the airport in Aguadilla. Aguadilla is known for its excellent surfing beaches, but there are few hotels here, and the Courtyard by Marriott is about a 10-minute drive away from the closest stretch of sand. But the rooms are large, with contemporary decor and flat-screen TVs; the kiddie pool has a fun play structure with slides; and there's an on-site casino. For those set on staying in this area, it's a decent choice for the money.

The Courtyard by Marriott is located in Aguadilla, a town in northwest Puerto Rico that's home to world-class surfing and beautiful beaches.
The hotel isn't on any of the beaches in Aguadilla, so guests must drive or take taxis (the closest beach is 10 minutes away). There aren't many attractions or great restaurants in the area either, so you'll need a car if you plan to explore.
