Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel

Though the entrance to the Cap d'Antibes Beach Hotel is unassuming and just off the road, what awaits guests inside is a modern and stylish hotel with beachy accents. The lobby has a Mediterranean-inspired color scheme with lots of white and neutrals offset by olive-green throw pillows and orange geometric light fixtures above the reception desk. There's ample seating inside, but most guests head outside to take in the pretty ocean views from the outdoor restaurant's wooden deck or the pool and beach area outfitted with cushioned loungers. Most guests are vacationing couples, and despite this being an upscale Relais & Chateaux property, the vibe is relaxed and unpretentious. 

Halfway between Nice and Cannes, this property is situated right on the beach in a quiet area. Yet it's also close enough to town for those who seek outside activity; several bars and restaurants are within a five-minute walk in the Juan-les-Pins town center. The Antibes town center is about a 10-minute drive away, while the Nice-Cote d’Azur Airport is 25 minutes. Valet and plentiful self-parking are available for a fee.

The 35 rooms and suites at the Cap d'Antibes Beach Hotel have sleek but beach-appropriate decor, including neutral tile floors offset by starfish murals, contemporary furnishings, and copious amounts of throw pillows that make the spaces feel both modern and comfy. Some rooms have purple accent walls, while others have colorful orchids in vases or teal crushed-velvet pillows to add striking pops of color. Also included are work desks, seating areas, and soundproofed windows. Each room has either a patio, a balcony, or a private garden, but only some have furniture. Amenities across the board include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, and minibars, while higher-category rooms add Nespresso machines. Sophisticated bathrooms features deep soaking tubs, separate showers with rainfall showerheads, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, and L'Occitane en Provence toiletries. 

One of the hotel's biggest draws is its on-site beach with decent sand and swimmable waters. Though the beach is marked as private, outside guests can order a drink at the beach bar or rent chairs for sunbathing during the day. However, it never gets too crowded and there are enough lounge chairs to accommodate everyone. The hotel also has a medium-size infinity pool surrounded by a deck with lounge chairs, and the water is warmer than in the sea. Drinks are available at the pool and on the beach from the casual bar and cafe Le Cap, which also serves lunch and dinner. 

There's also a Michelin-starred fine-dining restaurant -- Les Pecheurs -- which offers a seasonally changing menu with a focus on regional seafood, though it's only open for dinner. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service, and while breakfast is not included in room rates, breakfast in bed is available. There is no dedicated fitness center or full-service spa, but there is one treatment cabin available for massages or in-room treatments can also be arranged. Pets are allowed for an additional fee, and kids under 2 years old stay for free (although there are charges for cribs). Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
