PARKROYAL on Beach Road occupies a large white, curved building located on a lush, tree-lined street and surrounded by palm trees. The spacious lobby area has a '70s look to it, with somewhat dated decor and low ceilings, sleek black-and-white floors, and beige sofas offering seating around low coffee tables. There's plenty of spaces to relax in, including a pleasant living room-like nook with wooden floors, white sofas and armchairs, and a bookcase stocked with a small collection of tomes and decorative knickknacks. Most of the guests staying here are couples or business travelers, but families are also frequent visitors. The hotel's popularity means that public spaces can get quite crowded, especially the breakfast area in the mornings. 

PARKROYAL on Beach Road is a four-minute walk to Singapore's vibrant Arab Street, and six minutes to the trendy Kampong Glam neighborhood. Large office complexes like The Concourse and The Gateway are close by as well, both a three-minute walk away. Bugis MRT station is an eight-minute walk away, giving easy access around the city. There's also a bus stop just in front of the hotel, and the hotel's own free shuttle service offers a one-way drop-off service to several points across the city.

The PARKROYAL's bright guest rooms are decorated in an elegant, minimalist way, with a color palette of soothing, earthy tones: Walls are painted off-white and complemented by a tan-colored accent wall and matching wall-to-wall carpet, and the simple furniture is made of pale wood. Bathrooms are also spacious, with beige floor and wall tiles, as well as large mirrors. Some have shower/tub combos, while others feature large walk-in showers. The Superior and Deluxe Rooms have yet to be renovated and show a few signs of wear and tear, like tired furniture, outdated bathroom fixtures, and worn carpets. Premier Rooms have been completely refurbished to a high standard, but do not have tubs in the bathrooms, while Club Rooms and Suites are of a superior category, equipped with large walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads, separate bathtubs, black marble vanities, and balconies. Guests staying in these rooms also benefit from extra services, like priority check-in and checkout, concierge services, a free laundry service, and access to the Club Lounge with free evening cocktails and refreshments throughout the day. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, safes, minibars, irons and ironing boards, toiletries, free bottled water, and free Wi-Fi. 

Upscale hotels in Singapore are expected to have a substantial amount of on-site features, and on that front, the PARKROYAL doesn't disappoint. A buffet breakfast is available for an extra fee at the Plaza Brasserie, which also serves lunch and dinner buffet-style. Other on-site restaurants include the award-winning Si Chuan Dou Hua, serving Chinese cuisine, and the Tian Fu Tea Room, which has dim sum and 30 different types of tea on its menu. The fitness center is spacious and exceptionally well-equipped with a large number of cardio and exercise machines. St. Gregory’s Spa is located on the fourth floor with a hot tub and steam room, and offers a variety of beauty treatments, massages, and foot reflexology. 

Other on-site services include 24-hour room service, a 24-hour business center, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, free parking for guests, a free one-way shuttle service to various locations in the city, and seven meeting rooms covering a total area of 10,570 square feet.
