Mitsui Garden Hotel Yotsuya occupies an 11-story building located on the corner of a wide, busy Tokyo street. The lobby is bright and pleasant: large windows let in a lot of natural light, which is reflected by the cream-colored walls. A large rectangular mirror bounces back more light. Decor is uncluttered, with a few gray armchairs providing seating, and a contemporary tiered chandelier adds an elegant, understated touch. Guests are received at a reception counter made of gray marble, and the wood-paneled walls complement pale off-white floors. Its location is convenient for business travelers, who stay here during the week, while the hotel is busy at weekends with leisure travelers. 

The hotel is a short walk to Yotsuya train and metro station, and there are many offices, and company headquarters located nearby, as well as the offices of the Ministry of Defense. The area has several restaurants, bars, and convenience stores located close by.

The spotlessly clean and bright guest rooms at Mitsui Garden Hotel Yotsuya have a chic and modern look, outfitted with simple, clean-lined furniture and a few swing-arm lamps. The crisp white walls contrast with carpet tiles in a narrow pinstripe, and windows with Roman blinds contribute to an uncluttered look. Orange throw pillows add a splash of color to the otherwise monochromatic color palette. All guest rooms are well-equipped with air-conditioning, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, electric kettles, and mini-fridges. Wicker baskets on the beds contain pajamas, and other handy in-room amenities include hair straighteners, hairdryers, facial steamers, safes, and air purifier/humidifiers. Bathrooms are done up in pristine white tiling and are fitted with shower/tub combos, separate sinks, electronic toilets, and large mirrors. 

However, most rooms are snug, with the smallest measuring only 177 square feet. Also, double beds are 63 inches wide, which some couples may find to be a tight squeeze. The largest room is the Universal Twin which can sleep up to three guests and has 344 square feet of floor space. It includes a sofa bed that can accommodate a third person. Street-facing rooms can pick up ambient street noise and should be avoided by light sleepers.

There are few extra features on offer at Mitsui Garden Hotel Yotsuya; the most notable is the on-site Italian restaurant, which serves Italian dishes throughout the day, and features a wood-burning pizza oven. A Western-style buffet breakfast is also served here (not included in the room rate), and room service is available. Open in the evenings, G7 Craft Beer Highball serves craft beers and cocktails. There's a drink vending machine located on the second floor. Wi-Fi is free and accessible throughout the property.
