The 68 suites at Pullman Quay Grand Suites don't come cheap -- for a reason. These chic one- and two-bedroom apartment-style units look out over peaceful green gardens or the busy but beautiful harbor, and have floor-to-ceiling windows; modern, minimalist decor; big kitchens; dining areas; and cozy living rooms. They're perhaps not quite as luxurious as some may expect for the price, but they're still among Sydney's best accommodations. Amenities include a peaceful indoor pool and small, unexceptional fitness room. The property also features a fine dining restaurant and a trendy bar, both with great harbor views. It's a prime place to stay with an excellent location in Circular Quay, but with rates this high, the fees for Wi-Fi and parking feel like nickel-and-diming.
In the Circular Quay area, in view of Sydney Harbor bridge
Perched between Sydney Cove and the famous opera house, there are few spots more picturesque in Sydney than this one. Quay Grand Suites is within walking distance of Circular Quay, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Rocks area. The rest of Sydney's hot spots are just a short cab ride away. It's a bit removed from the heart of the Central Business District, but for many, the stunning views make it a worthwhile trade-off.
Sydney is Australia's most populous city and its cultural hub. Festivals, theater, fashion, and a famous opera house can all be found here, along with the retail and restaurants that naturally accompany them. The weather is excellent, with an average of 300 sunny days a year, and beaches are within a short drive from the city center.
