Guests can also dine in the cobblestone courtyard, which has a gorgeous fountain, and potted flowers that add color.

The Ayers Hotel & Suites in Costa Mesa-Newport Beach sits on a heavily trafficked street with restaurants, convenience stores, and the ART shuttle within a 15-minute walk or five-minute drive. The Orange County Fairgrounds, Lyon Air Museum, Irvine Museum, and John Wayne Airport are within a five-minute drive, while South Coast Plaza, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and the Bren Events Center are within a 10-minute drive. Fashion Island and the beach are 15-minutes away, while Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney can be reached in 25 to 30 minutes by car.

Decor can either feel elegant or old-fashioned, depending on perspective. All rooms have mini-fridges, flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers. Junior Suites come with wet bars with granite countertops and microwaves. Be aware that some rooms get noise from the nearby airport. Stylish bathrooms, with shower/tub combos, match tan tile to gray-speckled granite countertops. The hotel has two lovely outdoor pools and hot tubs -- one offers cabanas with fake grass on the walls and wood benches with green pillows. Le Garden Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and holds a daily happy hour. All food and drinks receive good reviews. Free weights plus cardio machines are available in the fitness center, while the business center has two computers and printers, and a small conference area. Room service, which has limited hours, and a free area shuttle to the airport, shops, and local businesses are provided, and there's free Wi-Fi and parking. Bikes can be rented for a fee.
