The Hotel Astoria is situated in the heart of West Berlin within steps to the Kurfürstendamm and the train station Zoologischer Garten. The bus from the airport stops just at the corner, and the U-bahn (Ulanderstrasse) is equally close. Traveling around the city via subway is cheap and easy. For shopping, guests will enjoy close proximity to the area near Gedächtniskirche. In the other direction there are plenty of restaurants around Savignyplatz.
