Bottom Line
The Hotel Cristal Champs Elysees is a 26-room boutique on a quiet cobblestone street off the Champs Elysees. Clean, colorful rooms have contemporary decor, and are a good size by Paris standards; high-end amenities include big flat-screen TVs and Keiji toiletries. Spacious bathrooms have glass walk-in showers and some have freestanding tubs. Decor is bold and trendy, particularly in the lobby and breakfast room, with bright pops of color. Rates are reasonable for the location -- close to world-class shopping and dining -- and Wi-Fi is free, but there is no fitness room and breakfast isn't included in the nightly rate.

Location
On a quiet street off the Champs Elysees, two blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and steps to the Metro
Rue Washington is a small, cobblestone street off the western end of the famous Champs Elysees. The imposing Arc de Triomphe is an easy walk away, and world-class shopping and dining are just a few steps from the hotel.
Major tourist attractions can be easily reached via the Metro, located half a block away, and those who are up for a stroll, the Eiffel Tower, the Champ-de-Mars, and the Trocadero (to name a few) are just over 20 minutes walk from the property.
The Cristal Champs Elysees is in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement, a ritzy area home to wonderful restaurants, great (and expensive) shopping, and a number of luxury hotels. Part of the Champs has been taken over by chain restaurants and stores, but for a real high-end Parisian experience, head to Avenue Montaigne, known for its boutiques and outstanding restaurants.
