The Monarca Hoteles Las Condes is located at the intersection of the two bustling thoroughfares Apoquindo Avenue and Los Militares. It is in the heart of the financial district, home to the stock exchange, corporate offices and buildings, and banks. Despite its name, however, it is not a hotel. It is an apartment-style property, and its 30 rooms are more like apartment rentals, spread out between two different buildings. Rooms have nice views of the neighborhood, are stylishly furnished, and come with amenities such as fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. Some, though, are in much better condition than others. The property lacks room service and an on-site restaurant, and the free breakfast is plain and meager. A car or taxi is needed to get to many of Santiago’s main attractions, but there’s also a subway station within walking distance. On-site, the two rooftop pools and Jacuzzi with stunning city views, and well-lit fitness center, are great perks.
