While there isn't much in the hotel's immediate vicinity, a few restaurants and the Mustafa Center are within a 15-minute walk, and the Lavender Mass Rapid Transit station is within a 10-minute walk -- the trip to downtown takes about 20 minutes. Rooms are smart yet basic, and come with minibars, coffeemakers, and flat-screen TVs, although some can feel cramped. Large sliding doors swish open to the lobby, which is flooded with natural light. Furnishings, though, are sparse, and include little more than a leather couch and a flat-screen TV. Swirl-patterned carpeting and wallpaper make up the decor. Reception consists of a minimalist white desk, while a pleasant cafe-restaurant with chic Scandinavian-style furnishings, wooden floors, a curved glass wall, and a terrace for alfresco dining sits adjacent to it. A pair of lobby elevators transport guests -- mainly couples and families -- to the hotel's six floors.
