Pros
- Stunning panoramic views of the Tetons
- Good proximity to Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
- Quaint on-site spa
- Golf course within walking distance
- Free Wi-Fi
Cons
- A sleepy area: only one restaurant within walking distance
- Room size varies wildly
- Lodge-style decor feels tacky and dated in areas
Bottom Line
As is typical at bed & breakfasts, the five rooms at the Sassy Moose Inn vary in style: The Cowboy Room is large with sparse log cabin decor, a small tube TV, and soaking tub, while the Wildflower Room is tight with low ceilings and a kitschy early-90s style bathroom. But the inn has a genuinely homey vibe throughout the breakfast area and living room, and what it lacks in surrounding restaurants and shops it makes up for with stunning views of the Tetons (and, of course, the occasional moose). It's a nice, casual option for anyone seeking to be surrounded by the great outdoors.

In Wilson, a small Jackson Hole town near the airport and a short drive from downtown Jackson
The Sassy Moose Inn is located in Wilson, a small village in Jackson Hole south of Jackson Hole Airport. There's plenty of outdoor activity in the town, including, biking, rafting, and golfing, but skiing and Jackson's shops and restaurants are a short drive away.
Jackson Hole, near the Wyoming's western border with Idaho, is a low-lying valley surrounded by mountains that are frequently used for various outdoor activities, like hiking, biking, and skiing. It's also home to Wyoming's busiest commercial airport -- Jackson Hole Airport. Grand Teton National Park encompasses most of the valley of Jackson Hole, and various wildlife roam the area, including moose, deer, antelope, elk, and grizzly bears. Although skiing is the area's main draw, some other attractions can be found in town, like a few steakhouses, bistros, and bars.

- 15-minute drive to Jackson's shops and restaurants
- 19-minute drive to skiing at Snow King Resort in Jackson
- 32-minute drive to Craig Thomas Visitor Center, a starting point for Grand Teton National Park
- 1-hour-34-minute drive to the southern entrance of Yellowstone National Park
