The adults-only resort is in a residential area on Lanzarote’s Playa Blanca, with stunning sea views from the hotel gardens, but it's not close to any shopping or restaurants. There are 100 units in total, but note that only suites have air-conditioning. Decor in rooms and public areas is mostly white and unremarkable -- and shows some signs of wear. That said, the hotel is perfectly clean and an excellent value for an all-inclusive three-and-a-half-pearl property. Couples looking for a more luxurious child-free getaway might also consider the Hotel Villa VIK, a five-pearl luxury boutique hotel with just 19 rooms that's also only for adults.

The low-lying, white buildings with pops of deep blue are a perfect fit for the seaside location of Marconfort Atlantic Gardens Bungalows. The lobby is small and unremarkable, with a little reception desk, one sofa, a few chairs, and a desk with a computer for guest use. Grounds are inspired by the tropics with thick palm trees and flowering bushes. The property is adults-only and, as such, the majority of guests are couples looking for a quiet getaway.

Marconfort Atlantic Gardens Bungalows are located on Lanzarote’s Playa Blanca, a 10-minute walk from Flamingo Beach. The area is residential, and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. A car is needed for exploration and parking is free. The Lanzarote Airport is a half-hour drive away and there's an airport shuttle available for an additional charge for guests who opt out of renting a car.

Clean and functional Suites with air-conditioning and Bungalows without it
Marconfort Atlantic Gardens Bungalows offer One- and Two-Bedroom Bungalows with separate living rooms and bedrooms, as well as fridges, kettles, and private terraces with direct access to the gardens. Bungalows lack air-conditioning. Junior Suites are air-conditioned and have a combination living room/bedroom with a king-sized bed, as well as a hot tub and a minibar. Rooms are spotless and decor is mostly white, with the occasional pop of color in the form of a painted wall or a brightly hued piece of furniture. Private patios are set with cheap white plastic tables and chairs. The rooms don't have Internet access.
