First impressions at this small-scale property are solid. The lobby feels bright and fresh, with a neutral color scheme, floor-to-ceiling windows, polished marble floors, and a few comfortable seating areas with black leather sofas, glass-topped coffee tables, and tall green potted plants. There's a cafe at the lobby level with a casual atmosphere, as well as an outdoor street-facing seating area, providing guests with a great place for people watching and sipping fresh coffee in the morning. The outdoor pool area is small, but it's a welcome spot to relax and cool off after a long day exploring the city. This hotel is usually busy with tourists from all over the world, particularly families who stay here for the quiet location and extra space.

This hotel is well-located for anyone who wants to be close to the city center, but not right in the heart of it. It's situated on a residential street with lot of restaurants and markets nearby. Picturesque General San Martin Park is roughly a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Central attractions are around a 20-minute walk away, and include the Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno, Teatro Independencia, and Plaza Independencia -- which hosts a popular weekend artisan market. Alternatively, by cab it's a five to 10-minute drive into town. The Malvinas Argentinas Stadium is a five-minute drive away, while the Governor Francisco Gabrielli International Airport is about 25 minutes by car. Travelers looking to visit the area's famous wineries can arrange excursions via the hotel's tour desk.

This small hotel has 30 air-conditioned studios and apartments with simple, generically modern decor. Configurations vary, but the largest can sleep up to six people. Split-level apartments are also available, with separate bedrooms and living spaces. On the downside, some guests have reported uncleanliness and we spotted some wear during our visit. Flat-screen TVs, safes, phones, and free Wi-Fi come standard, while some upgraded rooms add separate living areas and furnished balconies with street views. White-tiled bathrooms are basic, but all include (tiny) showers or shower/tub combos, bidets, hairdryers, and toiletries. Guests should be aware that street-facing rooms can be noisier, so light sleepers should request at room at the back of the property.
