Security is present round-the-clock, and one of the staff members will give a tour of the unit, including a lesson on how to operate the high-end appliances and televisions. Use this time to ask for recommendations and get an earful on nearby attractions and local hot spots.
The main communal attraction is the small outdoor pool area, where guests can pick up a lounge chair and mark their spot on the quiet beach a few steps away. Grab a drink from the bar next door, and sit under a palm facing the perfect turquoise waves. Located on the south coast -- a buzzing area of Barbados -- White Sands Beach Villas remains a hidden gem, taking up a beautiful stretch of beach with constant waves that aren’t too big or too small. St. Lawrence Gap or “The Gap” -- a one-mile-long area of restaurants, shops, and bars -- is within walking distance. With so much nearby, guests won’t need a car for their whole stay, as rental cars are available at the property for day trips. Staff will readily assist with directions, tours, taxis, and airport transfers.

These bright and spacious units are individually decorated depending on the owner (most offer a riff on chic beach decor), and all come equipped with a modern kitchen, living/dining room, washer/dryer, and covered patio or balcony. Front-facing units have the best views over the ocean. Master bathrooms have shower/tub combos, and second bathrooms have a shower only. (Toiletries other than soap are not provided in the rooms, but the nearby grocery store sells them.)
