Las Ramblas, the city's iconic pedestrian thoroughfare, are only two minutes away on foot, and Plaza Catalunya is only one minute farther. More shopping is available along Passeig de Gracia, a five-minute walk away. The street is also home to two of Gaudi's famous houses, Casa Battlo (10 minutes on foot) and La Pedrera (a 15-minute walk). The Catalunya Metro station is at Plaza Catalunya, making trips around the city easy. It takes 15 minutes to reach Barceloneta, on the sea, and 20 minutes to reach La Sagrada Familia. Barcelona–El Prat Airport is 30 to 45 minutes away by car or public transportation.
