The hotel has a nautical theme throughout all common areas and guest suites -- focusing on red, white, and blue colors with carefully selected signature decor pieces. Guests are welcomed with a free glass of Champagne in the lobby, which is bright and airy with beach-style furniture and decor. Suites are spread across nine floors, with a central atrium featuring a small pond in the center on the ground floor. The Atlantic Pool Bar, Yacht Club Bar, and La Sirena Restaurant all overlook the ocean and feature white furniture. The swimming pool area includes an adult-only area for a bit of peace and quiet. There's also a kids' swimming pool and kids' club for families with small children. The vibe is both fun and relaxed, with evening entertainment as well as plenty of spaces to relax and unwind. Marina Suites is frequented by both couples and families.

Marina Suites is situated on the southern side of Gran Canaria, one of Spain's Canary Islands, overlooking the Puerto Rico Beach and Harbor. It's a five-minute walk to the Puerto Rico Beach, and a 10-minute walk into the city center, where there are shops, restaurants, and bars. Other nearby beach options include Amadores Beach, a nine-minute drive away, and Anfi del Mar, which is an 11-minute drive from the hotel. Anfi Tauro Golf Course is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Playa del Ingles is about a 25-minute drive from the hotel, with more beaches and a lively nightlife scene. Due to its close location to the harbor, the hotel does not have its own parking area. There's plenty of surrounding parking areas (for an additional fee). For public transport, the Barranco Agua La Perra Bus Stop is a nine-minute walk from the hotel. The Gran Canaria airport is a 40-minute drive and the hotel offers airport transfers with prior arrangement, and for an additional fee.

The six different types of suites available at Marina Suites feature tasteful nautical decor and carefully selected furniture. With a nautical theme throughout, the suites follow a red, white, and blue color scheme. The look is simple with beautiful artwork, boat-shaped countertops and shelves, funky lampshades, and red-and-blue striped sofas and cushions. All suites include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, separate lounge and bedroom, furnished private balcony, free Wi-Fi, and full kitchen including two hot burners, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, plates, and cutlery. The main differences in the various suites is their size, and the choice of either a beach or harbor view. Bathrooms are spacious and modern, with a shower/tub combo. Free toiletries, robe, and slippers are provided.

Features here are convenient and focus on both kids and couples. Marina Suites offers three different dining options. The Atlantic Pool Bar, with panoramic views overlooking the beach, serves a buffet breakfast (not included in all room rates), as well as light snacks and drinks throughout the day. The Yacht Club serves drinks, including coffee, and provides evening entertainment. A dinner buffet is served in the La Sirena restaurant, which overlooks the harbor. The swimming pool area features a large infinity edge overlooking the ocean, as well as a kids' pool, adult-only area, and two outdoor hot tubs. The pool deck is lined with plenty of sun lounges and parasols. There's a daily kids' club, as well as evening entertainment program for both kids and adults. The fitness center includes cardio and weight training equipment, and the Massage and Beauty Corner offers an array of treatments next to the infinity pool. Additional services include a 24-hour reception desk, car and bicycle hire, transfer services, luggage room, and laundry service. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
