Angel’s Home Hotel

Angel's Home Hotel occupies a three-story building with a pink facade on a charming, quiet street made up of similar historical houses, most dating back to the 19th century. Guests enter via a pleasant courtyard garden at the entrance and a canopy of colorful hanging umbrellas. The reception area is a long room with low ceilings. A seating area with old-fashioned roll-arm couches and armchairs occupies one end, while the other end holds a bar. The wall behind the reception desk is covered with gilded picture frames containing notices and a large map of Istanbul. Overall, the decor is dated, especially the bright-pink walls of the hallways and gilded railings of the staircase. This property is popular with leisure travelers who want to experience the Old World charm of the Sultanahmet area and be close to tourist attractions. 

Angel's Home Hotel is located in the historic district of Sultanahmet, where many of the city's tourist attractions are located, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque). The guest rooms at Angel's Home Hotel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, each equipped with air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar (with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), and an electric kettle. The decor is old-fashioned, with floral or patterned wallpaper covering the walls, floral-print curtains hanging at the windows, and matching floral-print bed runners and pillows on the beds. Some rooms have balconies with street views, while others have low ceilings and feel cramped. The tiled bathrooms are modern but small, featuring walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads. Other handy extras include slippers, bathrobes, and hairdryers. The Triple Room includes a double bed, single bed, separate living area, and kitchen -- ideal for families. The hotel also offers a two-bedroom apartment located in an annex right by the main building. Past guests have complained about poor soundproofing between rooms.
